This week for Inqury my class are learning about gravity. My table were tasked with answering the question: Why do you feel heavier on Earth than you would on the Moon.
Our answers were:
Blake: You feel lighter on the moon because the moon is smaller and if an object is small the the gravitational pull will be less powerful.
Kendric: because on the moon there is zero gravity but on earth there is gravity.
Kaleb: Because moon is smaller it has a smaller gravitational pull than the earth because if something is smaller then it will have less of a gravitational pull
Jeremiah:You Weigh six times less on the moon because the moon has a gravitational pull of cause earth’s moon has less mass than earth has.
Roman: Because on the moon the gravitational force is different because the moon doesn’t have anything to do with the atmosphere.
Donyal: The moon is smaller than the earth because the moon is weaker because the gravity pulls you.
