Summurising Thirst
This week I have been learning about summarising, so we summarised about a book called Thirst it is about a boy that is going through a drought and who poors water into tin cans so birds can drink from it. We were asked questions like do you think that was the right idea, what do you think. Here is my work.
Book Report
These last few weeks my class read a book called the 13 Story treehouse. It is about two people named Andy and Terry, who live in a 13 story treehouse! They need to write a book for Mrs Big nose who is their publisher, because they said they would make him one last Friday,but they keep geting distracted by catnaries, sea monkeys and terrible creatures like Mermaidea and a giant gorilla. In the end they finish their book and live with a neigbour with pets called catnarries who actully saves the day. I would rate this book 8 out of 10.
