My Silhoutte

Today I Completed the silhoutte art task for the summer learning journey.

My first task was to look at the video explaining what I silhoutte is and giving me easy ideas for my posing and for how bright or dark my background should.

My second task was to look at the instructions, the instructions told me to take a photo of myself because my computer dosen’t have a great camera I used my dads. After that I put my photo through a remove background web site. Then I put my image on google slides, changed the format colour to drak 4 and posted to my blog.

Here is my work.

  1. Kia ora Blake,
Before reading your caption I thought you were somewhere like Hawaii! What great photo editing skills you have. This reminds me of the island silhouette art you created with pastels in Term 2 last year. I would be interested to see how you could use your background removing abilities within one of your movies…

  2. Mōrena Blake,

WOW!! What an incredible photo. I love this art activity as it incorporates photography and different ways you can be creative with photos.

This looks incredible, what a beautiful sunset I love the different shades of orange. If I didn’t know what the activity was I would have believed this to be a real photo. Have you ever taken a silhouette photo before, without using editing tools?
