This week I completed another summer learning journey task.  Today I had to take photos of things in my garden and remove the background of them.

First I traced a bird picture. I used the polyline tool to make the bird.

Then I picked the leaf that I would want to use. Then I took a photo of it and removed the background.

After that I took some pettels from the hydrangea flower and used that as the feathers and removed the  background of course.

Soon After I  put all the pettels and leaves together to make a colllage that made it look like birds feathers.

Today I completed another Summer Learning Journey task.  Today I learnt how to make a paper plane and what makes a paper plane fly. A paper plane flies when there is enough force pulling it forwards, its like when you throw a stone it goes far because the force at that you threw it and because it is heavy it would go further.

My task today was to measure and see how paper planes would react to different mods added to them for example if you put slits on the edges of the wings if it would make it fly further or if you put more weight at the back it would do flips. I made two paper planes one with no mods and the other with mods like slit wings, weight focused at the back and with a flat tip. My paper plane with no mods went further but it didn’t go very high and my paper plane with mods went higher but not that far.  That is why I have come to the conclusion that if you have more weight at the back it will not go very far but it will go very high and if you have a straight tip and weight at the front your paper plane will go higher. Also if you use enough force then your plane will go far and high.

Today my task was to listen to a story about an anemone, he tried to make freinds with a school of fish that swam into the anemone’s rock pool but the fish were mean to him. So  when the water started to go out the fish were forced to swim closer to the anemone if you dont know anemone has this chemical reaction that makes it when ever anyone touchs one you get stung. So when the water went completely out tide the fish were forced to get stung by them. Once the water came back the fish’s left, once the mean fish a clown fish came in the rock pool but he was nice and when the water went out the clown fish swam into the anemone but did not get stinged the clown fish did not want to leave because the bigger fish could not swim into the anemone.

My next task was to rock pool using meaterials in my garden and outside. I gave my rock pool a treasure chest, because

there was not alot of  stones in my garden I had to use other items sutch as pocker chips and other things I found

Today I complete anouther summer learning journey task.

Today I had to write a text confersation between to friends. They were talking to each about what they like to do in the holiday and what they want to do in the holidays.

My learning objective was to include and use emoji’s and pictures to my text.

I also learnt who the creator of the emoji is and what emoji stands for. The man who created the emoji is named Shigetaka Kurita he worked for an iphone company that added it, emoji stands for e being picture and moji being chracter which means together bicture charcter.

Today I Completed the silhoutte art task for the summer learning journey.

My first task was to look at the video explaining what I silhoutte is and giving me easy ideas for my posing and for how bright or dark my background should.

My second task was to look at the instructions, the instructions told me to take a photo of myself because my computer dosen’t have a great camera I used my dads. After that I put my photo through a remove background web site. Then I put my image on google slides, changed the format colour to drak 4 and posted to my blog.

Today I made I DLO explaning what I would do and bring bring on I winter holiday I had to explain where I wanted to go by using pictures. I also had to explain what gear I would bring with me agin by using pictures. I  had to name two activites I wanted to do, my activites were skiing and snow boarding. My final task was to write why I wanted to go snow boarding. (The reason why I wnated to go skiing is so I can see if it is hard and also so I can say that I have done it.

To day I completed a task that made me write a story using emojis. Here is my story.

I leart how to get emoji’s in google docs and that emojis can lead to emoution and verbs such as running or sad.

The Magic Dog

Once upon a ⏰️ there was a 🐕‍🦺 named Pedro, Pedro lived inside a 🌇 with his owner Jacob. Jacob and Pedro loved to go on 🚶🏻‍♀️s through 🏞 and in 🛝, they also both ❤️ 🍖 and going to the 🏄🏻‍♀️. One day when Pedro and Jacob were 🚶🏻‍♀️ through the 🛝 they heard a loud thud coming from a tall 🌲. They 🏃🏻‍♀️ over to the 🌲 too 👀 a massive 🐦 double the size of pedro, laying on the ground. All of a sudden Pedro and Jacob were swooped up by another massive 🐦 as they were being carried away by a huge 🐦. Pedro was building up the courage to bite the big 🐦’s 🦵🏻. Pedro all of sudden felt like he wasn’t being held by anything and low and behold he wasn’t. He was ✈️ in the air right behind the flying 🐦 Pedro ✈️ over to the 🐦 and bit it right in the 🦵🏻 where Jacob was hanging from. Pedro grabbed Jacab and went back to the 🛝. Jacob was 👀 very 🤢 so Pedro 🏃🏻‍♀️ over to one of the other 👥 at the 🛝 and got there attention, Pedro got the attention of a family and got the family to follow him, Pedro 🏃🏻‍♀️ back to Jacob and the family 📞 the 🚑 as Pedro was waiting for the 🚑 pedro felt more and more 😱 for his owner, he felt 😡 that the 🐦s just took them away without 🗣 anything and he especially felt a 🤪 feeling “how did Jacob get so 🤢” Pedro 🧘🏻‍♀️ there 🤔 right until the 🚑 came. Pedro 🏃🏻‍♀️ inside the 🚑 and once Jacob was inside Pedro laid on Jacob, the 🧑‍⚕️ outside were 🗣 until they 🚑 a bright 🔦 coming from the 🚑 and the 🧑‍⚕️ 👀 inside the 🚑 to their amazement they 👀 Pedro laying on Jacob which was making a bright gold 🔦 coming from between them. Suddenly Pedro 🦘 off Jacob and then Jacob 🧘🏻‍♀️ up and he was helped up by a  by 🧑‍⚕️ Pedro saved Jacob! Pedro and Jacob the next day found other things they could do apart from their love for air walks with Pedro flying high.
